Material testing can be classified into destructive and nondestructive testing. At Touchstone Testing Lab, the majority of testing is destructive testing in which material samples and components are destroyed as part of testing. Thus, for example in a tensile test a sample will be tested to failure. In contrast, materials after nondestructive testing can be used for service or subsequent testing. As needed, we collaborate with service suppliers of nondestructive testing to support the customer, thus offering one-stop shop service to the customers.
Touchstone is committed to providing its customers with quality, reliable test results. That is why we have undertaken the rigorous steps needed to meet and secure the most stringent of test lab accreditations including ISO/IEC 17025, NADCAP 7101 (Materials Test Lab) and NADCAP 7122-I (Non-Metallics Materials Testing).
