TTL Assures Accurate Results Through Extensive Quality Control

March 6, 2018 – Touchstone Testing Lab prides itself on providing its customers with accurate results. One of the ways we accomplish this is through an extensive and longstanding quality program that encompasses ISO/IEC 17025, Nadcap 7101 (Materials Testing), Nadcap 7122-I (Non-Metallic Materials Testing), and ISO 9001:2015.  It has been a big year for that program.

In April of 2017, TTL completed the audit for its reaccreditation to Nadcap’s requirements for non-metallic materials testing (NMMT AC7122-I), an accreditation that Touchstone has held since 2008.

In May of 2016, TTL took on the rigorous task of obtaining accreditation to Nadcap’s strict AC7101 Materials Testing requirements.  We completed our first reaccreditation audit of that standard in November of 2017.

Just two months later A2LA was onsite to conduct the audit for the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Touchstone has held the honor of being accredited to this well-known and widely respected standard since 2011. In addition to the tests already on TTL’s scope, some additions were also made. TTL is now accredited to perform ASTM E8/E8M (Metallic Tensile), ASTM E646 (N-Value of Sheetmetal), and ASTM E517 (R-Value of Sheetmetal).

Touchstone is committed to providing its customers with quality, reliable test results. That is why we have undertaken the rigorous steps needed to meet and secure the most stringent of test lab accreditations including ISO/IEC 17025, NADCAP 7101 (Materials Test Lab) and NADCAP 7122-I (Non-Metallics Materials Testing).
